Invitation to propose a project
Dear students,
Once again, the School of Psychology is pleased to invite you to submit your proposals for projects to be evaluated in the context of the yearly Murray Brown Fund Competition. The fund seeks to support student initiatives designed to enhance the experience of undergraduate and graduate students of the School of Psychology.
You will find attached the terms of reference of the Murray Brown Fund for further details.
HOW TO APPLY
Each year a variety of activities, including projects initiated by the students, will be considered for funding. The project proposals must include (1) a description of the project, (2) its timeline, (3) a budget, and (4) a statement explaining who will benefit from it and how it will enhance students’ educational experience at the School of Psychology. The proposal should be sent by email to psychair@uottawa.ca no later than November 10th, 2023.

The likelihood the project will enhance students’ educational experience at the School of Psychology
The impact of the project, as indicated by the number of students who will benefit from it
Clarity of the proposal
CONDITIONS TO BE MET IF THE PROJECT IS SUPPORTED
The project must be completed on August 31, 2024, at the latest.
The applicants must submit a short report on September 30, 2024, at the latest.

This scholarship program is for certain professionals (master's degree holders) and students who will soon be completing their program of study in specific fields.
Pathy foundation fellowship
The Pathy Foundation Fellowship is an intensive 12-month experiential learning opportunity for graduating students to lead a self-directed project in a community they have a meaningful connection with. Fellows are provided with comprehensive training, personal and professional development coaching, up to $40,000 in funding, and wrap-around supports to design, plan, and implement an innovative project in their community. This year-long Fellowship is designed for students who show a demonstrated capacity and potential to develop and evolve as leaders and change makers and have a meaningful connection with a community of their choosing.
